Video Display
Video Display provides a CPU-rendered preview of the active processed video. It shows processing FPS and displayed FPS separately.
Double-click the preview to toggle fullscreen; press Esc to leave fullscreen. When frames stop arriving, the preview clears after about one second. Resume the capture source to restore it.
Settings
- Display Rate: every frame down to every twentieth frame (100%, 50%, 33%, 25%, 20%, 10%, or 5%).
- Render Mode â Resolution: smoother full-quality scaling.
- Render Mode â Performance: reduced smoothing for lower CPU use.
Use
Start capture, then open/start Video Display. Reduce the display rate or choose Performance mode when previewing competes with capture or inference.
Video Display is for inspection; changing its display rate does not reduce the underlying capture or processing rate.
To inspect unannotated video, enable Preferences â Other â Video Display â Disable Overlay Drawing. Processing and result production continue, but Helios suppresses script, inference, and OCR drawings until the setting is disabled.
